The Lion King is intended to be a children’s movie. Although, there are a lot of powerful messages within the movie. The first lesson is that we are all kings and queens in our own way. We must carry ourselves as Kings and queens. When we do this, we all will hit our highest potential. Another lesson is that we should not run away when we have a problem. We might need some time to grow. When we come back, we will come back stronger than ever. We need growth before we can fulfill our purpose. As a child, I saw Scar as being mean. He still is mean, but now I see that it was envy that led him to kill Mufasa. Scar wanted what he could not have and he would do anything for it.
