Langston Hughes is one of my favorite authors. When I was younger, I would read authors like Langston Hughes and Maya Angelou. It made me think that it was possible for me too. The quote”I have discovered in life that there are ways of getting almost anywhere you want to go if you really want to go” (LangstonHughes) really resonates with me. This quote really resonates with me because it is so honest. I have always dreamed big. When I was younger, my dreams were cute. As I got older, I would say I had the same dreams and people would tell me that they were not reasonable. I was told that I should find something else that is realistic. Since then, I have been trying to find things were normal. As I back at this quote, I can see that my dreams are as real as I make them and that I should continue forward. It is my favorite because it is a reminder that I can do what I want.
