Saki and conflict (The Interlopers)

Saki’s story suggests a lot of different things about the kinds of conflict. With man versus nature, Saki suggests that nature always wins. Even though the man versus man, man versus society, and man vs man conflict had been solved, nature still won in man versus nature. Saki shows that the nature element defeated the men even though the other conflicts were solved. We know that Saki feels that nature always wins. We also know that Saki feels like the other three conflicts can be resolved. The reader can tell this because there was a solution to these problems. Even though there was a solution, you can see that nature put the men in the position to fix their problem. Nature still shaped the situation. Nature is the main factor in Saki’s story. We can tell that Nature can heal and kill through the way that Saki told the story.
