My grandmother reminds me of Mrs. Jones in “Thank You Ma’am”. Everyone loves my grandmother. She took care of everyone when we were little and we stayed at her house. She always made sure that we were good. My grandmother did not teach us in the traditional ways that society would see fit. She treated us like mini adults at a young age. She made sure we could do stuff for ourselves and that we will continue to be responsible. Even when we did make mistakes, she had stories to tell that were similar to our stories. I think that is what makes my grandmother so relatable. On top of that, she is a very giving person plus she is funny and loving. She is tough and almost encourages us by telling us positive things about ourselves. My grandmother is always there when we need her.
