One of my favorite movies is Jason’s Lyric. There are a lot of themes in the movie. The main theme is to not let your environment stop you from seeing the world. As people, we are often caught up with wanted to stay in our environment. We do not want to leave people behind even if staying does not benefit us. I think that is important because we have to learn how to love ourselves. If not people can guilt trip us into believing that is where we are supposed to be. We cannot be fearful of things we do not know. If we let our environment trap us we may never get the bigger picture. We will only see what is right in front of us even though it is so much for the world to offer. A lot of the times we have people close to us telling us that we are fine even though in our hearts we desire more.
