A lot went wrong in “A Good Man Is Hard to Find”. Although, if I had to pick one thing I would say that if Bailey was stronger- willed the story would have changed. He never said no. He did not say no to the children. He did not say no to his mother. No would have led the family to Florida. No would have them alive. If Bailey was strong-willed then he would have rules set in place. Everyone would have felt that they needed to follow them. Bailey just was there until it was too late. The Grandmother ran the household and that was not right. Bailey should have not let her manipulate the situation. He should have stuck to the plan and the route. Bailey should have also been aware of his surroundings. He should not have driven down a road if he did not know where it led to. Bailey should have led his family.
